How Does “Shower Glow” Work?
Shower Glow forms a thin layer on the surface of Glass. The layer is 100 nm to 150 nm thin and absolutely transparent. When water falls on the coated glass, the contact angle of the water droplet is around 120 degrees. Hence the droplet gets lesser surface area to support itself resulting in lesser friction. This results in the water droplets rolling down. It does not leave behind any trail of water and hence results in dry glass.
